Aspen	A man is afraid. He knows he is afraid. But of what? He does not know. It is a vague fear. Fear of unknown. A child gets up from sleep at night and insists that all doors are closed and lights of the room kept on, or he cannot go to sleep for fear of what might happen.
Centaury	Works for others, like a slave. He is not required to but he works. He does not say NO. Thus a girl who does not marry for years in order to keep company of her ailing mother is in the negative centaury state.
Chicory	Love of self, selfish, mania of possessing things, self pity, greedy, always wants to get something, never wants to part with any of his possessions, wants company. A widowed mother put all types of obstacles in the marriage of her son lest his present love and care for the mother may be shared between the mother & the wife.
Gentian	Lack of faith, Doubt, Pessimism, Depression. If he comes across any obstacle in his way, he does not try to remove that obstacle and clear his way. He assumes that the difficulty is insurmountable and stays back depressed and disappointed.
