Although The Almighty Brahma kept the lot of human beings a secret in his own hands, yet he traced some lines, signs and shapes on their hands in order to make them familiar with the coming events. Listen, your Palm speaks. This art of listening to your palms is known as the language of the hand, or simply, Palmistry. Any Palmist can easily and correctly reveal many aspects of human lives, e.g. health, wealth, character, main events of life, etc. As this articles focuses on Palmistry and Health, we would concentrate on health aspects only. Following are the indications in the hands in the form of lines, signs, shapes, stars, etc. of various diseases.

Accidents :
- A dot on the line of life;
- A break in the line of head in both hands.

Anaemia :
- Pale or white hand,
- Nails white

Asthmatic Tendency
- A black spot inside the quadrangle;
- Line of Liver poorly traced;
- Line of Heart curving down to the Line of Head; - A narrow quadrangle.

Birth (Mystery of) :
- An island at commencement of Life Line;
- An island at the commencement of Line of Fate.

Deafness :
- An island on the Line of Head under the Mount of Saturn;
- Mount of Saturn much rayed;
- Dots on the Line of Head.

Diabetes :
- Confused line at the bottom of the Mount of Moon;
- A cross on the Mount of Moon.

Eye Troubles :
- A circle on the Line of Heart under the Mount of Sun;
- Broken of the head under the Mount of Saturn.

Fainting fits :
- Line of Mercury connecting with Line of Life at the chart;
- Line of Heart chained;
- Psychic hand

Gonorrhea :
- Abnormal predominance of the Mount of Venus with black dots and criss-crossed by the confused line.

Headache:
- Small bars cutting the Line of Head;
- Line of Head short and chained;
- Line of Mercury irregular.

Heart Trouble :
- Small bars cutting the Line of Heart;
- Chained Line of Heart;
- Line of influence from Mount of Venus, cutting the Line of Heart;
- Mount of Sun much rayed;
- Nails short, square, bluish;
- Lines of Life and Mercury closely connected.

Hysteria :
- Long Line of Head drooping towards Mount of Moon;
- A star on the Mount of Moon;
- Girdle of Venus double or triple and cut by many bars.

Insanity :
- Line of Head ends in a grille or cross on the Mount of Moon;
- Mount of Moon bulging;
- Line of Head deeply broken and sloping to Mount of Moon;
- Wavy and chained Line of Head;
- Smooth and pointed fingers;
- A star on the second phalange of second finger.

Jaundice :
- Mount of Mercury much lined;
- A spot or star on the Mount of Moon;
- Mount of Mercury exaggerated

Kidney trouble :
- Inward bend at the top phalange of the finger of Mercury;
- A cross on the Mount of Moon;
- Mount of Moon exaggerated and much lined;
- A long Line of Voyage forked at the end and touching the Line of Life.

Liver Trouble :
- Line of Liver laddered;
- Lines yellow coloured;
- Mount of Mercury exaggerated and much lined;
- Dark spots on the Mount of Moon;
- A bluish spot on the Line of Head.

Spinal Trouble :
- Line of Life broken under the Mount of Saturn;
- A star on the Mount of Saturn;
- Drooping Line of Life;
- Nails short, narrow, and curved,
- Mount of Moon much rayed.

Stomach Troubles :
- Line of Liver broken and wavy;
- Line of Head very thin;
- A very large island at the termination on the Life of Head.

Thyroid Glands (Defective functioning of):
- Large mounts in the nail;
- Flabby hand.

Typhoid :
- Line of Liver broken and colour bluish;
- A dot on the Life of Life,
- A black spot on the Line of Heart

Venereal Diseases :
- Girdle of Venus much broken;
- at times double Girdle of Venus;
- A black spot on Girdle of Venus with many rays.
